On the 4th of Feb, all Rotary students over Norway met in Nesbyen cabin skiing area. For the next 9 day's we stayed in Nesbyen skiing and socializing. On our first day at the event, we were fitted with our skis and taught how to cross country ski, this was extremely fun as the event of skiing was fun whilst the social aspect created more excitement. For the next few days, we cross country skied and socialized at night. Also, a few of us had gone tobogganing which we found extremely fun. For the last two days, we learned to downhill ski, on my 4th run I nearly broke my thumb so I missed that day of skiing. I was back on the sloops the next day. The second day we went skiing was the most thrilling experience, we were skiing down the large hill so it extremely fast.

On the last day, everybody left except my friend and me as our train left the next day. This night we stayed at a Rotarian's house that looked over the hole of Nesbyen. The hytta we stayed in was from the 14th century.
